Apple secretly building a ChatGPT-style Siri

Bloomberg leaks: Apple has an internal app called Veritas — basically ChatGPT with an Apple skin. It remembers chats, handles long Q&A threads, and is the testbed for the next-gen Siri. Catch: new Siri was supposed to launch this spring, but crashed 1/3 of the time. Now the release is delayed to March 2026. Core tech is Linwood — Apple’s in-house LLM blended with third-party models. Planned features: searching your personal data, editing photos by voice, controlling apps, and even understanding what’s on your screen.
