Nvidia: OpenAI will be the next multi-trillion giant

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang just dropped a bold one: he says OpenAI is on track to become the next multi-trillion dollar company. Not just words — Nvidia is pouring up to $100B into OpenAI to build data centers with tens of gigawatts of compute. That’s millions of GPUs powering future models. Huang calls it “the largest AI infrastructure project in history.” Sam Altman is hyped too: “There’s no partner other than Nvidia who could pull this off at such speed and scale.” OpenAI’s valuation already skyrocketed from $29B in 2023 to $300–500B today. Sure, they’re burning cash (projected $44B loss by 2028), but aiming for $100B revenue by 2029. Huang says OpenAI is riding a “double exponential” — exploding user growth + exploding compute demand.
